Kevin Wold Jr, an accomplished and decorated artist & educator, became enamored with performing at the age of 5. Although he didn’t train until the age of 17, he adapted very quickly into the dance world and began teaching and choreographing by the age of 18. Growing up in Lake Charles, LA, he trained in American Tae-Kwon-Do association for several years competing at tournaments in Louisiana, and Texas. He has won several Gold, and Silver medals in Sparring and Technique. Kevin knew he loved the art of dance since he was very young, but was not able to attend dance training, but that did not stop him. Kevin turned to resources like; Disney Channel, Youtube, and various musicals to rewatch, pause, and learn whatever he could. He competed a freestyle hip hop dance solo at his High School talent show winning first place and from there the doors swung wide open.

Kevin spent his senior year in high school leaving at noon each day and training at the local studio until late at night, quickly learning technique in Jazz and Ballet. After one year he was invited to train with the legendary Miss Glenda Moss at Glenda Moss Academy of Dance.

Torn between pursuing a Dance Education at Marymount in NYC and moving to Lafayette, LA to attend a Bible College, Kevin made the decision to move to Lafayette. During his years traveling the world and the United States as a Missionary, Kevin was also able to continue training, performing, and choreographing for countless tours, productions, special events, conferences, and local studios including taking classes from Broadway Dance Center in NYC.

After graduating from Crossroads leadership College and West Coast Bible College, Kevin continues to teach various master classes, choreograph award winning solos and group pieces with accolades like “The Storyteller Award”, “Most inspiring Choreography”, and “Unique Award”. Kevin has been traveling to studios year round teaching Master Classes and setting Choreography for 8 years. His unique, exciting, and demanding choreography has received numerous Choreography Awards every year at major National conventions & competitions. He has choreographed multiple musicals including “Chasing Lights Musical” Reaching audiences 80,000 people for three seasons, “The Wizard of Oz”, and various music videos. Kevin is now the Advance Placement Dance Teacher in Jazz, as well as teaching Hip Hop, and Boys Technique for Academy of Christian Arts in Lafayette, LA. He still travels teaching master classes and assisting in Creative opportunities at Churches for kids, and adults.
